氏家 厚文（リコーダー／パイプ＆テイバー／打楽器）
国立音楽大学及びミラノ市立音楽院卒業。ミラノ・スカラ座研修所20世紀室内楽研修課程修了。オックスフォード・シャレミー夏期講習会にてパイプ＆テイバーをビル・タック氏に師事。在学中国立音楽大学、ミラノ・スカラ座研修所より奨学金授与。ソリストとしてフランチェスコ・スッパ指揮サン・ジョバンニ・ボスコ吹奏楽団とデイビッド・リバス作曲「サヤグエサ組曲」をイタリア初演する等管弦楽との共演の他、英国パイプ＆テイバー国際フェスティバル等の国際音楽祭や英国放送協会、イタリア放送協会等のメディアに出演。リング・アラウンド四重唱団とともにCD「フロットーレ～イタリア・ルネッサンスの世俗歌曲集」をナクソス・レーベルよりリリース。第４回フィラデルフィア国際音楽コンクール打楽器部門第２位、木管楽器部門第３位。リコーダーアンサンブル・エクス・リーニョ・ボーチスのメンバー、国立音楽大学講師、クレモナ・コスタンツォ・ポルタ音楽院講師他を経て、現在スタラ・ザゴラ国立歌劇場管弦楽団首席ティンパニ奏者。トリオ弾丸メンバー。日本パイプ＆テイバー協会会長。
Atsufumi Ujiie (Flauti e Tamburi Antichi)
Atsufumi Ujiie è nato a Tokyo. Ha studiato presso il Kunitachi College of Music di Tokyo, laureandosi nel 2010. Nell’autunno dello stesso anno si è trasferito in Europa per studiare presso il dipartimento di musica antica dell’Accademia Internazionale della Musica di Milano, in particolare con Diego Fratelli. Nel 2009 ha ottenuto una borsa di studio del Kunitachi College of Music di Tokyo per partecipare alla “Chalemie Summer School of early music, dance & comedia” di Oxford. Ha preso parte parte nel 2010 ai seminari organizzati dall’International Pipe and Tabor Festival di Gloucester e l’anno successivo è stato invitato presso il medesimo Festival in qualità di esecutore di flauto e tamburo. Nel 2013 ha vinto un’altra borsa di studio dell’Accademia Teatro alla Scala per frequentare il corso di perfezionamento per ensemble da camera dedicato al repertorio del XX secolo. La sua attività concertistica comprende esibizioni e spettacoli in Giappone, Taiwan, Italia, Svizzera e Inghilterra. In Italia si è prodotto in numerosi concerti di musica antica. Ha inciso per Naxos con Ring Around il CD Frottole e si è esibito con grande successo nell’omonimo programma ai concerti del Quirinale.
Atsufumi Ujiie (Pipe and Tabor / Recorder / Percussion)
Percussionist and recorder player, Atsufumi Ujiie, is a sought-after musician specialising in the performance of pipe and tabor. He commenced his musical studies with a Bachelor of Music in percussion at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, before being awarded a scholarship to study pipe and tabor at the Chalemie summer school in Oxford. In 2013, he completed a triennial degree at the Milano Civica Scuola di Musica in Italy and completed a course in the perfection of 20th century chamber music at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, also in Milan. He plays regularly in festivals in Italy and England such as Festival Milano Musica, Festival lo Spirito della Musica di Venezia, International Pipe and Tabor Festival, and concerts with Teatro alla Scala. He has played with The Ring Around Quartet and Consort (Tutte Frottole!), recorded for RAI Italian radio and BBC radio, and played as soloist with many orchestras and ensembles. Atsufumi has an interest in exploring and creating new possibilities for the relatively unknown pipe and tabor, and has a desire to use his experience and skills for musical education. He has taught recorder at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo and he teaches percussion at the Scuola Costanzo Porta in Cremona. Currently he is chairman of the Pipe and Tabor Society of Japan.
